CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Ovia has been in Insurance Industry for 14 years and particularly in Micro-insurance space for 7 years. She worked with SORAS General Insurance as Head of Marketing for 6 years and RADIANT Insurance Company since its inception in 2013 as a Commercial Director and later as a Deputy Managing Director. Ovia holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Kampala International University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda. She went through a Micro-insurance Master Leadership Program in the Philippines and she’s now a Micro-insurance Master in the Country. She’s an ILO Certified Impact Insurance Trainer and has also completed several trainings in insurance Product design & Development, Human Center Design & Customer Centricity from different Countries. Together with other stake holders, she’s playing a significant r ole in the design & implementation of Rwanda National Agriculture Scheme under Livestock & Crop insurance.

James holds a master’s degree in development studies from Kigali Independent University, with 10 years of experience in Local Government, 3 years of experience in General Insurance as Deputy head of marketing department at Radiant Insurance Company. James has got various trainings in leading for Results with Values and Ethics offered by Nu Quest from Singapore , in Micro insurance such as Human Centered Design offered by Board of Innovation supported by Micro-insurance Master, Market Research for Emerging Customers by Impact Insurance of the International Labor Organization (ILO), He aims at educating, marketing and promoting the development and delivery of effective and affordable Insurance services to the unserved and the underserved low-income earners in Rwanda.

JENNY NYAMPINGA

SALES AND MARKETING OFFICER

I have amassed tremendous experience in a financial sector in Rwanda. In my assignment; I worked closely with Banks, MFIs and SACCOs to provide Credit Life Insurance to their clients based on the loan eligibility. My aim is to serve all Rwandan citizens with affordable and accessible insurance covers by exhibiting professionalism and passion in everything that I do.

LANDRY NDAGIJIMANA

CLAIM ANALYST AND SALES OFFICER

Landry has been in Insurance Industry for 5 years and particularly in claims department. He worked with SAHAM assurance as a Claims Analyst and Sanlam Insurance Company as an independent sales agent. He is also working as a sales officer in charge of Turikumwe life insurance. Landry is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Project Management from University of Kigali and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting Sciences from University of Rwanda/College of Business and Economics. He went through a Young insurance professionals Program provided by Africa Re to get a certificate in insurance and reinsurance from the London school of insurance. Besides all that he is skilled in analytical, research, and communication, Computer Literacy, Decision-Making, Adjustments, Customer Experience, and Team Spirit.

LYNA MAKUZA

SALES AND MARKETING OFFICER

Lyna is a marketing professional at Radiant Yacu Ltd using inbound marketing and sales platform that helps the company to attract prospectors, convert leads, and close customers. She worked as a marketing manager for ITECH professionals which is a tech software startup company in RWANDA. She is a master’s degree holder with honors in accounting and finance from ANNAMALAI UNIVERSITY, INDIA With various trainings in Micro-insurance field namely "Introduction to micro-insurance" and later market research for emerging customers, She looks forward to deliver appropriate, affordable, responsive, accessible and simple insurance solutions to all Rwandan citizens especially low income earners.
